5 Ways to Instantly Become a More Positive Person During Coronavirus

One of the best ways to achieve your goals and get through this Coronavirus outbreak healthily is to cultivate a positive attitude. If this sounds a little difficult right now, here are 5 ways to instantly become a more positive person.

    1- Work on your mindset.

The way that we respond to a problem shapes our course of action and emotions, which can then have a domino effect. Stop to look at a problem or change rationally. Remember that you have the power to control your response and calmly look for the positive solution or outlook. Recognise any emotions that come up and don’t bury the negative ones.

    2- Practice gratitude.

It might be difficult to practice gratitude right now when there are so many cancellations and problems. But, we do still have a lot to be grateful for. When we rest at night and try to sleep, think about all that was achieved and the tools you had to achieve them. Think about the people that helped you through the day. Think about universal things that are constant, like nature, music, art and any other interest.

    3- Try meditation.

Meditation isn’t as complicated as some people would lead you to believe. All you need to do is sit somewhere that is comfortable for about 10 minutes and focus on your breath. Like your thoughts pass by and be still for a while.

4- Set realistic goals for each day that this continues.

You can’t hide away and do nothing until this blows over. But, you can’t pretend to be Superman and do everything in one day either. If you set small, achievable goals each day – while also making time for meditation and self-care – you will see positive growth more easily.

    5- Start a Covid-19 journal.

One day in the future, you are going to look back at this period and be amazed at what you achieved and what you did to get through it. Celebrate those moments now. Write them down and keep them as proof that there is positivity in this situation.
